Born in Norfolk, Virginia and lived along the Atlantic Coastline at several locations from Annapolis, MD to Charleston, SC (including Wilmington) as a youth, he returned to Wilmington after graduating Engineering School primarily because of his quality of life memories.  From his past experiences, the Wilmington Area was always at top of his list.
